Who we are
Stem Beyond the Skies is a youth-led nonprofit redefining what STEM education can look like. Since launching, we've transformed kitchen tables, community centers, and local libraries into innovation hubs for kids ages 7 up and grades 3-5 who might otherwise be left out of the science conversation.
What started with a simple idea, that every child deserves access to engaging, hands-on STEM learning, has now grown into a dynamic movement of students, mentors, educators, and community partners. Our programs combine robotics, coding, physics, biology, engineering, and space science to bring high-impact education to life. We help kids build the skills, confidence, and curiosity to shape the future.
Learning Without Limits
Through our rotating STEM sessions, Stem Beyond the Skies offers thematic camps in Robotics, Coding, Engineering, Biology, and Physics, all designed to be engaging and age-appropriate. Each session integrates tools like VEX GO robotics kits and MIT’s Scratch programming platform, along with their accompanying educational resources, to bring complex STEM concepts to life in an exciting, hands-on way. In addition to these immersive learning experiences, we provide volunteer-led workshops in schools and community centers, mentorship opportunities with high school and college students in STEM fields, and collaborative projects that inspire creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking.
